There was great celebration Friday as a Castleisland Community College basketball team won its second county title in a row.
The girls’ first year team took part in the Kerry ETB Basketball Blitz and repeated the success of 2017.
Captain Kerry
Kerry Costello captained the team to victory which was achieved with an outstanding display of skill and determination.
The community college girls won all games comfortably to hold onto the county title.
Squad and Mentors
The squad and mentors included: Coaches, Cillian O’Regan and Anna Kerin. Kerry Costelloe, captain; with: Kayleigh Barrett, Miriam O’Connell, Mary Kate Culhane, Gabija Kalikavskaite, Jessica O’Loughlin, Leah Bartlett, Aoibhe Reidy, Nadine Forrest and Maire Collins.
