Deputy Danny Healy Rae – another bus load of ‘eye patients’ gone to Belfast today.

Another bus load of patients left Kerry early this morning going to Belfast to have cataracts removed from their eyes – according to Deputy Danny Healy Rae who is involved in organising the bus service.

Back Tomorrow Evening

“They will all be assessed by the consultant today and the procedures will be carried out early tomorrow and they will then return back to Kerry tomorrow evening.

“I personally want to thank these people for undertaking the long and arduous journey to Belfast so close to Christmas, their determination has to be admired.

Happy Christmas

“I wish these and all the other people who travelled to Belfast over the past 14 months all the best for Christmas and the New Year,” said Deputy Healy Rae.
