On behalf of the chairman, secretary and committee of St Mary’s Basketball Club, I would like to sincerely thank those people who helped to ensure the success of the 49th Annual Christmas Blitz.

There are so many people involved that it is not possible to name them all individually.

Local and Regional Support

Firstly, sincere and special thanks to our numerous sponsors, both local and regional.

It would not be possible to stage an event of this magnitude without their continued generosity and financial support.

An Efficient Manner

Secondly, I would like to thank the volunteers without whom the Blitz could not function in such an efficient manner. I would like to thank our referees, score keepers, time keepers, stewards, ticket collectors, cleaners and people who helped out in the shop.

Those Who Helped

Anybody that I have overlooked who helped in whatever small way, a special thanks for all your assistance.

On behalf of the chairman and committee of St Mary’s Basketball Club, Donal O’ Connor, Tournament Director, January 2019.
