New CD by Jim Lyons

A new CD was launched by Jim Lyons in recent weeks, it contains a diverse collection of songs from the past – some very well-known and more not-so-well known.

They are performed in the old style – as they would have been sung in times gone by.

The collection is available in Snow’s, Ballingarry; Dillane’s, Kilconlea; O’Connor’s, Duagh and from Ann Lyons, Abbeyfeale.

Two new programmes available in West Limerick, ‘Effective Communication for Better Relationships’ in St Ita’s Hall, Abbeyfeale, begins on Monday, January 28, 2019, from 10.00am to 12.30pm for eight weeks (to March 25). ‘An Introduction to Personal Development’ in the Desmond Complex, Newcastle West, begins on Wednesday, January 30, 2019, from 10.00am to 12.30pm for 8 weeks (to March 20). Extra Sunday Mass In Duagh

Fr. Jack O’Donnell is offering an extra Mass at the weekend in Duagh Church each Sunday at 11.30 a.m. between now and Easter.

Bingo continues on Monday nights at 8.30 pm.

Abbeyside Players – The Chastitute

Abbeyside Players are currently rehearsing John B. Keane’s play The Chastitute and will be on stage on Thursday, January 31, Friday, February 1, Saturday, February 2, Thursday, February 7, Friday, February 8, Saturday, February 9, Sunday, February 10.

We will also be going on tour on Saturday, February 23 and back again to the Rock Saturday February 16.  To reserve your seat phone 087 1383940.

Afternoon Tea Dance

This will be a fundraiser for Fr. Martin McCormack’s African Project and takes place on tomorrow, Sunday, January 13 at Fr. Casey’s with dancing to Donie Walsh and Jer Enright.
