Curranes National School wins Lee Strand €500 Draw

It was a case of Tús Maith 2019 at Curranes National School, Castleisland during the week when Lee Strand visited to present a cheque of €500 in the Cash 4 Schools Draw.

Valued Financial Support

John O’Sullivan, General Manager, Lee Strand congratulated Curranes NS and wish all schools the best of luck in the next two draws.

Lee Strand will present a total of €2,000 to schools in Kerry and West Limerick providing much valued financial support for schools.

Active School Flag

Receiving and welcoming the cheque, Curranes NS Principal Emer Nelligan thanked Lee Strand on behalf of the staff, management, pupils and parents of Curranes NS

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank Lee Strand for the very generous prize of €500.  We have an Active School Flag and we will use this money to buy extra sports gear and equipment for our school,” said Ms. Nelligan.

Fifth class pupils Neil Reidy and Caoimhe O’Connor went into Radio Kerry on Friday evening after school and recorded an avert for Lee Strand Milk which will be played on Radio Kerry for the next while.

How to Enter the Draw

Schools wishing to enter the draw just need to collect 10 Mighty Mikey Milk mascots printed on Lee Strand 1 Litre and pint cartons or two Litre plastic bottles.

They can then post the 10 mascots along with the name, address and telephone number of the school to: Win €500 Cash 4 Schools Competition, Lee Strand, Ballymullen, Tralee, Co. Kerry.

The third draw will take place on Thursday, February 28th, 2019.
