Bannalec – Castleisland Twinning Committee AGM

The AGM of the Sliabh Luachra / Castleisland Twinning Association will be held in the River Island Hotel on Monday 4th February, 2019 at 8pm.

Visitors for St. Patrick’s Day

“This year a group of 18 visitors from Bannalec will arrive for the St. Patrick’s weekend and they will attend the Castleisland St. Patrick’s Day Parade as part of their stay and enjoy the atmosphere in our county during this special weekend,” said Castleisland committee founder member and spokesperson, John O’Donoghue.

2020 Visit to Bannalec

“Last year a group of 12 people travelled from Sliabh Luachra and Castleisland to Bannalec and enjoyed a wonderful time there. We will be making a return visit to Bannalec in 2020 and would welcome new members who would like to travel with us.

“Town Twinning is open to everyone with an interest in fostering relationships with people of other European cultures.
