I just got this Email from a lady who found herself in a distressing situation here in Castleisland some time ago.
However, she also found two knights in shining armour who came to her aid in her ‘time of misfortune’ – as she herself put it.
The lady, who asked that her identity be withheld sent the following account of her experience.
“I had a recent misfortune where after crossing a low side wall in Garveys carpark – my own choice – I stumbled and broke both my wrists.
A young girl came to my assistance as I was on my own and I didn’t get her name.
Can I express my sincere gratitude for the help I received.
Also I went into Shanahan’s Pharmacy and can only describe the assistance of Jack Shanahan as second to none.
I was so grateful for his attention until my husband arrived,
I have since had surgery but am so grateful that good people do exist as opposed to people who are no help in times of misfortune.
What a great pharmacy in Castleisland. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
