Castleisland Desmonds GAA Club News Round-Up

Both Castleisland Desmonds GAA Club Ladies and Coiste Na nÓg are holding their awards night on next Friday night in the River Island Hotel beginning at 7pm.

U-6, U-8 and U-10 girls will receive certs while the U-12 girls were division 2 plate winners.

The U-13 team won the County B Championship; the U-14 team won the North Kerry League; the U-15 team won the County B Championship and the U-16 girls will also receive their medals.

The U-12 and U-14 boys will also be presented with their medals.

Weekend Fixtures

Fixtures for next weekend: Desmonds minors are at home to Milltown /Castlemaine on Saturday in at 3pm

The club’s seniors will play Listowel Emmetts on Sunday in Round 2 of the North Kerry League in Castleisland at 2 pm.

This is the first home game of the year and your support would be appreciated.

Congrats to Kilcummin and Beaufort

Congratulations to Kilcummin and Beaufort on their All-Ireland wins on Saturday.

Well Done to Kerry Ladies

Well done to Lorraine Scanlon, Eilish Lynch and Andrea Murphy all on the Kerry ladies team that drew with Waterford on Saturday in the Lidl Ladies National Football League.

Officer Training Course

Kerry Ladies County Bord is continuing its officer training course on February 19th in the Inishfallon Suite in the Gleneagle Hotel.

All officers are requested to attend.

Lotto at Browne’s Worth €5,700

Desmonds Lotto continues this weekend  It will be held in Browne’s Bar and the jackpot will be €5,700.

U-12 Girls Training

U-12 girls training begins this weekend all players are asked to be on the field at 11 am.
