Information Sought on Maurice Prendiville, Castleisland from the 1800s

Information on a Maurice Prendiville who lived in Sandville, Castleisland in the 1800s is being sought by a local man  compiling a family history.

I got the following appeal for information from a local man seeking information on an ancestor:

“I’m looking for any information on my great-grandfather, Richard Prendiville, Castleisland.”

He was married to a Kay Kerin from Knockeenahone, Scartaglen.

They got married probably in the 1860s. I believe they had five sons and one daughter, Kate who married a Mr. Wynn from the Roche’s Cross area.

The third child would be my grandfather, Maurice Prendiville of Sandville. He was born in 1869.
