Medley of Musicals for the Stage in Abbeyfeale

Transition Year Students from Abbeyfeale’s Colaiste Ide agus Iosef who will be taking part in next week’s show: Michael McCarthy, Noreen Nolan, Amber Foley, Keely Quirke, Irtaza Umair and Cillian Morrissey.

Colaiste Ide agus Iosef Transition Year students are presenting their production of a Medley of Musicals next week.

It will be held in Colaiste Ide agus Iosef, Abbeyfeale on the 6th and 7th of March with the show starting at 7.30 pm each night.

Extracts from Musicals

The show consists of extracts from 12 musicals ranging from The Greatest Showman  to Chicago  to All Shook Up  and has a combined cast of over 80 students, many on stage for the first time.

“We are looking forward to this production as we know seeing some of the rehearsals that it will be a very enjoyable evening and this is due in no small part to the commitment and workrate of each student,” said teacher Con Healy.

Great Bonding Experience

The entire process is a great bonding experience for all students, where self confidence and leadership skills are enhanced”

Tickets for the show are available from the school on 068 30631 and Ann Lyons, Main Street, Abbeyfeale. Tickets cost €10 each.
