News Round-Up from Knocknagoshel GAA Club

County League Fixtures

Knocknagoshel seniors will begin the 2019 County League with a home game against Moyvane.

This game is fixed for Sunday 10th March at 2pm in Knocknagoshel.

Knocknagoshel/Brosna/Duagh minor team will play Kenmare Shamrocks in Brosna on Saturday 9th March at 4pm in round 3 of the County Minor League.

Registration for Underage Players

Registration for all underage players will take place on Sunday 10th March at 12.15pm at the log cabin.

Parents are asked to register any underage player that is interested in playing football this year. New players are welcome. ​

Sympathy Extended

Sympathy is extended to Eddie Barrett on the death of his sister, Bridgella Joan Barry of Castlegregory.  Sympathy is also extended to the Keane family, Mein on the death of Peggy Keane (nee O’Donoghue). ​

Scór na bPaistí

The District finals of Scór na bPaistí will take place on Saturday 9th March at 6pm in Knocknagoshel Community Centre.​

Knocknagoshel Clothes Collection

Knocknagoshel GAA Club is holding an ongoing clothes collection to help raise funds for the club.

Bags of clothes can be left into the white lorry container near the log cabin at the Football Field. All types of clothes are accepted as well as shoes, handbags, curtains & towels. Please note that duvets are not accepted.

Lotto Draw for €8,200 Jackpot

The next draw will be for a jackpot of €8,200 and will be held in Moynihan’s Bar on Saturday 9th March.

Tickets are available from: Kierans XL; SuperValu, Abbeyfeale, the local bars and usual sellers.
