Garda Drugs Find in Castleisland – Results Awaited

The find from Sunday night’s Garda raid in Castleisland estimated at €3,000 if suspicions are confirmed by analysis.

Gardai discovered what is believed to be heroin with an estimated street value of €3,000 in a raid in Castleisland last night.

Two men have been arrested and a cache of a substance thought to be heroin estimated to be worth €3,000 was seized from a car on the Cordal Road in Castleisland on Sunday night.

Members of the Kerry Divisional Drugs Unit stopped and searched a car in Knockananlig shortly after 9.30 last night and then made the discovery.

Gardai discovered what is believed to be heroin with an estimated street value of €3,000.

The haul will now be sent for analysis and confirmation.

One of the men is in his late teens and the other is in his early 20s and both were brought to Tralee Garda Station to be interviewed.
