Kate McSweeney is the Sinn Féin candidate for the Castleisland Electoral Area in Friday’s local elections.

Ms. McSweeney has a track record – in the true sense of the word – as former An Rocht AC manager and in local development. And, her reputation as an event and concert promoter is steadily growing.

As the only woman on the seven candidate list for the four-seat Castleisland area, she hopes that the women of the area will get behind her candidature when the polling booths open from 7am to 10pm on Friday.

Here, Kate introduces herself and shares some of the ideas she has for the Castleisland area if she gets over the finishing line on count day on Saturday. Have a Listen and See !
