Best Wishes to Lorraine Scanlon and Eilís Lynch who will be playing with the  Kerry Senior Ladies Team in the All-Ireland championship when they play Dublin on Monday.

Desmonds Seniors on a Roll

Desmonds Senior men’s team were victorious once again in the Co. League when they defeated Annascaul on Saturday evening 6-13 to 3-12

Well done to all the players and team management plus the officers who sold lotto tickets at the game.

Their remaining game in the league is away to Ardfert on the weekend of the 18th of August.

U-15 Girls Defeated at Semi-Final Stage

The U-15 Desmonds girls were defeated on Thursday evening by Milltown-Listry in the semi-final of the LGFA Co. Championship. Thanks to all of the players and mentors for a great run in the Championship.

Kerry Abú

Best wishes to the Kerry’s senior men’s team plus the team management this weekend away to Meath in the Super 8 game in Navan on Saturday evening.

U-13 Girls Fall to Scart

The U-13 girls were unfortunately defeated by Scartaglen in the Semi Final of the Ladies Gaelic Football Association Co. Championship on Wednesday at home in front of a large crowd.

Well done all the players and team mentors. Best wishes to Scartaglen in the final.

U-16 Finish on a Winner

The U-16 Boys finished on a winning note in the Kerry Co. League when they defeated Gneeveguilla away on Wednesday evening on the score of 1-9 to 4-10.

The team has been playing very well of late and well done to all of them and their mentors.

Well Done Ruairi and Thomas…

Congratulations to Ruairi Bourke and Thomás Conway who represented Desmonds on the U-14 Kerry North Development squad last weekend in the IT Limerick.

…and to Áine and Grace

Also well done to Aine Sheehan who was part of the U-17 Kerry LGFA and to Grace Cahill who was on the Kerry LGFA U-15 squad which travelled to Athlone last weekend to represent the Desmonds club.

U-12 Boys Home Game

The U-12 Boys start their Central Region games when they play Dingle on this Monday August 5th at home. Throw in at 7pm.

Medals from Desmonds to Belarus

Thanks to everyone that came to the Desmonds club grounds for the visit of the children from Belarus on Thursday evening.

They played football with the U-10 boys and this was followed by light refreshments in the clubhouse afterwards where they were presented with medals to remember their visit to Castleisland.
