Danny Healy Rae TD welcomes CLÁR funding announced this week.
“It is especially welcome because the funding will be used to support safety measures and play areas in schools and rural communities,” said Deputy Healy Rae.
The six Kerry projects which have been allocated funding are :
Ballyhar Dynamos FC: €50,000, Improvement of ca-rpark and footpaths.
Killorglin Playground/KCC: €31,466 for extension of the existing playground.
Barraduff Community Field Organisation: €43,000, Upgrade of footpaths, traffic calming, surfacing and marking of carpark.
Kilgobnet National School: € 6,300. Replacement of amber flashing lights.
Ballincrossing National School: €6,300. Purchase and replacement of existing amber flashing lights.
Sliabh a Mhadra National School: allocated €6,300 to erect safety signs on approach to school.
