Met Éireann Issues Status Yellow Rainfall Warning for Kerry

Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow Rainfall Warning from afternoon today to midnight on Saturday night.

We are warned to expect rainfall amounts of 30 to 60 mm with a risk of spot flooding.

Highest amounts will be in Co. Kerry, especially in mountainous areas.

Southwest gales or strong gales developing later today on all Irish coastal waters and on the Irish Sea. Winds will reach storm force tonight on coasts from Hook Head to Mizen Head to Valentia.
