In the sixth of our featured photographers from Castleisland Camera Club we publish the work of Terry O’Connor, Castleisland.
Terry is a coach driver and a national tour guide and the following is his biography.
“I joined the Castleisland Camera Club in 2018 after attending two photography courses given Tara and Dave O’Donoghue.
I wanted to put the skills I learned into action. In joining the club, that happens.
The members are always up for a challenge. Outings for light photography on a beach, night sky shoots, sunsets and anything in between will be organised and taken.
The people I have met are great fun and willing share their knowledge.
I don’t have a favourite type of photography, but, to be able to capture ‘that moment’ is what it is all about for me.
What I would like to achieve is to be confident with the camera and to share my skills and knowledge.”
Sale and Exhibition on November 30th
The photographers are being featured in the order in which they sent in their images and biographies for inclusion here.
We’re including one each week up to the time of the club’s annual exhibition and sale of work here in Castleisland which has now been set for Saturday, November 30th at the Ivy Leaf Art Centre.
