Castleisland Camera Club Feature Seven: Sheila Hanrahan

This is the seventh week of our featured photographers from Castleisland Camera Club and this week it’s the turn  of club member, Sheila Hanrahan.

The following is Sheila’s account of her history of involvement with photography and with the club.

In a nutshell, I always loved photography and was overjoyed when it was announced there was a club starting up in Castleisland as having just retired it was the icing on the cake for me.

The club is made up of great members, new friends and it has increased my awareness of nature and all my surroundings.

It’s a great pastime and there’s a wonderful sense of fulfilment from it.

I joined the camera club in March 17th. I always had great interest in photography and I tend to enjoy the landscape side of it more.”
