The launch of Presentation Castleisland School Choir CD will be held in Ballygarry House Hotel Tralee on this Thursday night November the 21st.
A reception at 7pm will be followed by performances from a list of well known guests who are lending their support to the event on the night.
Line-up of Special Guests
Nóirín Ní Riain is an Irish singer, writer, teacher, theologian, and authority on Gregorian Chant.
She will be joined on the guest list by the Castleisland based Bellecanto and 2019 Gradam Ceoil winners Nicky and Ann McAuliffe.
Some of the songs featured on the CD such as: Coldplay’s Fix You and This Is Me from The Greatest Showman will be performed by the choir at the launch.
Solo and Choral Singing
The CD is compiled of solo and choral singing and performed by the school choir.
The choir has performed with Philip Myers Corporate Entertainment and for Pope Francis in Dublin; for the Kerry Hospice at home and at the Con Houlihan Memorial Concert in Castleisland.
Tickets Available
Tickets are available from the Presentation Secondary School office at Church Street, Castleisland.
Admission is €10 with concessions for students and OAP’s at €5.
The CD will be on sale on the night and, afterwards, at the school and local shops throughout the area.
