Condolences From Knocknagoshel GAA Club

Sincere sympathy is offered to the Neligan family Meenleitrim on the death of Josie Neligan and to the Brosnan family Dromadda Beg on the death of Betty Brosnan.

Fixtures and Results

Knocknagoshel will play Annascaul in the first round of the Junior Championship on Sunday July 26th at 2.30pm in Knocknagoshel.

Entry to this match will be by pre-purchased ticket only due to the Government restrictions on the number of people allowed at outdoor gatherings.

Tickets can be purchased on www.kerrygaa.ie from 5pm on Wednesday 22nd July.  Entry will not be permitted without a ticket.

Minors Narrow Loss to O’Rahilly’s

On Friday night Willie Walsh Park hosted its first competitive football match since March.

The Knocknagoshel/Brosna/Duagh minor side lost to Kerins O’Rahillys on a score of 2-8 to 1-13.

Coiste na nÓg

Knocknagoshel/Brosna/Duagh U-16 team will play Moyvane on Monday 27th at 7pm.  Venue to be confirmed.

The U-14 team will play a challenge match against Duagh in Knocknagoshel on Thursday 23rd July at 7pm.

Knocknagoshel U-12s will play Duagh in Knocknagoshel on Sunday 26th July at 6pm in the County League.

Club’s Big Prize Raffle

Knocknagoshel GAA will hold a monster raffle on Pattern Day, August 15th.

There are excellent prizes on offer including bed and breakfast and an evening meal for two at the Dingle Skellig Hotel; A family pass for Tayto Park; a €100 shopping voucher for Kierans XL, a €50 voucher for Kirby’s Brogue Inn, Tralee and a €50 voucher for Kerry Agribusiness.

Lines are €5 and can be purchased from Kierans XL, Knocknagoshel Gym, senior players and committee members.

Cúl Camps Next Week

Knocknagoshel GAA will host the Kellogg’s Cúl Camps on the week of 27th – 31st July.  Registration is open on www.kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie. 

All children attending the camps must be registered in advance and there will be no registration on the morning of the camps.

Lotto Jackpot of €9,900

The next draw will be for a jackpot of €9,900 and will be held in the Community Centre on Saturday 8th August 8th.

Tickets are available from Kieran’s XL and Hungry Ed’s in Knocknagoshel, SuperValu in Abbeyfeale; Eileen’s Bakery and Deli and Diarmuid’s Butchers in Castleisland; Dillane’s Shop and The Creamery at Feales Bridge and the usual sellers.
