Smiles at the Mention of his Name

To leave this world and to have the mention of your name, or nickname, be the cause of bringing smiles to the faces of those who knew you is an epitaph that can be applied with sincerity only to the few.

In a town noted for its penchant for nicknames, the late Denis Nolan’s legion of friends knew him by a name that I’ve heard various versions of and I’m not even going to attempt to spell here.

That they will miss him terribly as the dark nights and short days of winter approach is an inevitable consequence when someone so full of the joys of life suddenly departs the great stage of life and the cast or circle of family and friends.

Our condolences to his grieving parents, Johnny and Margaret and to his brothers and sisters, nephews and nieces on their untimely loss.
