The Late Catherine ‘Kitty’ Sugrue, nee Lenihan, Tulligabeen, Castleisland, Co. Kerry and late of Meenganaire, Knocknagoshel.

The death has occurred of Catherine ‘Kitty’ Sugrue, nee Lenihan, Tulligabeen, Castleisland, Co. Kerry and late of Meenganaire, Knocknagoshel.

Peacefully on April 7th 2021, surrounded by her loving family in the excellent care of the Palliative Care Team at University Hospital Kerry.

Predeceased by her husbands Danny Cremins who died in 1962 and Stephen Sugrue who died in 1996.

Sadly missed by her loving family: Mary, Kate, Bridget, John all in the U.K.; Donie in Castleisland; Jeremiah, Dan in the U.K.; Timmy and Hannah, Castleisland; sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, her adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters: Mary, Teresa, Bridget, Joan, Margaret and brother Denis, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Also remembering her deceased siblings John, Michael, Nora and Sheila.

A Private Family Funeral  

A private family funeral will take place for Catherine with the Requiem Mass on Friday morning at 11am in Castleisland Parish Church.

Burial afterwards in St. John’s Cemetery, Castleisland. Family flowers only please.

Funeral Cortège Route

Please Note: The funeral cortège will depart her residence in Tulligabeen at 10:15am on Friday morning and travel down the Old Limerick Road on route to the church and depart the church at 12 noon approx and travel along the Main Street en route to the cemetery.
