The death has occurred of Pamela ‘Pam’ Tangney, nee Prendiville, 18 Main Street, Castleisland, Co. Kerry.

Peacefully on April 23rd 2021 in her 91st year in the wonderful care of the team at Willow Brooke Care Centre, Castleisland.

Beloved wife of the late Bernie. Sadly missed by her sisters-in-law Mary Tangney, Castleisland and Marie Prendiville, Tralee, niece Jeanne, nephews Bruce and Rice, all Bernie’s nephews and nieces, relatives, her excellent team of carers most especially Breda O’Leary, her many dear and kind neighbours and friends.

The family would like to thank Dr. Pat Daly and all at Brooklands Medical Centre, Dr. Noirín Ní Scanláin and all at the Bon Secours Hospital Tralee and everyone at the Castleisland Health Centre for their care and attention to all Pam’s medical needs in recent years.

May Her Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

A Private Family Funeral

A private family funeral will take place for Pam with her Requiem Mass on Monday morning at 11am in Castleisland Parish Church.

Burial afterwards in Kilbanivane Cemetery Castleisland. The Mass will be live-streamed on www.churchservices.tv

Please Note: The funeral cortège will depart Tangney’s Funeral Home at 10.30 am on Monday morning on route to the church and will depart the church at 12 noon on route to the cemetery.

In accordance with HSE guidelines please ensure social distancing is adhered to at all times.
