Monsoon Season
It’s been a cruel month for our farming community. The endless rain and cool conditions are putting a strain on the land and animals.
I was told that many years ago when we experienced a similarly poor May that our parish priest at the time said a special Mass.
With this in mind, let’s all join our good wishes, prayers and positivity and hope that summer does turn up not just for 99s in Ballybunion but for our farming neighbours and friends who are reliant on the weather.

We remember Mr. Oliver O’Connell, Ballybunion, formerly of the village and Mr. Denis O’Connor, Cork, formerly of Coolegrane, who died this past week.
We send our sincere condolences to the family and friends of both Ollie and Denis. Rest in Peace.
