Parish Addressing the Need for Extra Time Between Sunday Masses

Throughout Castleisland parish the three Sunday Masses are celebrated just an hour apart: 9:30am in Cordal; 10:30am in Scartaglen and at 11:30am in Castleisland.

A statement from the parish office explains that there are times when it is well-nigh on impossible to say Mass in Cordal at 9:30am and be on the altar in Scartaglen for 10.30am.

Obvious Need for Change

This presented an obvious need for a change in the Mass times and this is being addressed by the new time-table as the need for an extra quarter of an hour is vital to the weekly schedule.

So, as and from the coming Sunday, June 6th. the Sunday Mass schedule will be as follows: Cordal Mass at 9am.; Scartaglen Mass at 10:15am and Castleisland Mass at 11.30am as usual.

The Saturday Vigil Mass in Castleisland remains at 6:15pm as usual.
