The Late Mrs. Mai O’Donoghue, nee O’Leary, 62 Killarney Road, Castleisland and formerly of Coolnageragh, Scartaglen.

The death has occurred of Mai O’Donoghue, nee O’Leary, 62 Killarney Road, Castleisland, Co. Kerry and formerly of Coolnageragh, Scartaglen.

Peacefully at her residence on June 9th 2021, in 104th year, in the presence and care of her loving family.

Beloved wife of the late tailor, Con and grandmother of the late Baby Paul Ring.

Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her family Patrick in Maynooth; Noreen Ring, Castleisland; Micheál in Killarney; Doris Coffey, Castleisland and Niall in Killarney; sons-in-law Donie and Jerry, daughters-in-law Jacqueline, Mary and Suzanne, her adored grandchildren: Angela, Alan, Gemma, Trevor, Mick, Yoann, Fiona, Jack and Sam, her cherished ten great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

May Her Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

Private Family Funeral

In accordance with current Government and HSE Guidelines and in the interest of public health a Private Family funeral will take place for Mai with her Requiem Mass on Saturday at 11am in Castleisland Parish Church.

The Mass will be live-streamed on: https://www.churchservices.tv/castleisland Burial afterwards in Kilbanivane Cemetery, Castleisland.

Please Note: The funeral cortège will depart Mai’s residence at 10:30am on Saturday morning and travel via Killarney Road and Lower Main Street en route to the Church and depart the Church at 12 noon and travel via Church Street and up along the Main Street en route to the cemetery.
