The Late Kathleen Conway, nee Timlin, Knockananlig, Castleisland, Co. Kerry and formerly of Drimoleague, Co. Cork and Ballina, Co. Mayo.

The death has occurred of Kathleen Conway, nee Timlin, Knockananlig, Castleisland, Co. Kerry and formerly of Drimoleague, Co. Cork and Ballina, Co. Mayo.

Peacefully, after a short illness, on June 11th 2021, in her 90th year, in the presence of her loving family, in the wonderful care of the staff at University Hospital Kerry.

Beloved wife of the late Brendan, ex Garda Siochána, and dearly loved mother of Ailbie in Athlone; Mona McCarthy, Innishannon; Sandra in Castleisland; Orla Conway, Westport; Fiona O’Shea, Killorglin and Karen O’Sullivan, Milltown. Sister of Michael in London and the late Jim, Breege, John and Eddie.

Deeply regretted by her heartbroken family, son, daughters, sons-in-law Donal, Sean, Shane and Gerard, daughter-in-law Joan, her adored fifteen grandchildren and cherished nine great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

In accordance with Government and HSE Guidelines and in the interest of public health, a private family funeral will take place for Kathleen with her Requiem Mass on Monday afternoon at 2.30pm in Castleisland Parish Church followed by burial in St. John’s Cemetery, Castleisland. Funeral Cortège  Route

Please note, the funeral cortège will depart her residence at 2pm on Monday afternoon en route to the church and depart the church at 3.30pm and travel up Church Street and the Main Street en route to the cemetery.
