Raising the Bar at the Bar

A big thanks to Kate Pats who reopened for outside hospitality at the weekend.

All safety protocols were observed in the newly refurbished and most attractive beer garden.

It’s great to see a return to almost-normal.

GAA: League Action Returns

On a sweltering day, Brosna seniors travelled to Currow for the first of the county league games.

The first half saw Brosna put 2-9 on the scoreboard while Currow racked up six points.

The second half brought an intensive effort by Currow and they added another 1-6 to their tally with Brosna, a player down, managing only two points.

Points by Adam Barry, Mike Finnegan,  Kieran O’Donnell and Tom McGoldrick. Goals by Conor Lane and a penalty by Tom McGoldrick saw Brosna hang on.

Full time score: Brosna 2-11 Currow 1-12. Well done to all involved.
