Knocknagoshel GAA Club sends its condolences to the family of former club player Anthony Reidy of Ballyduff Knocknagoshel and Rochestown Cork.

Condolences to the Reidy Family

It is with deep regret we heard of the passing of Anthony Reidy formerly of Ballyduff, Knocknagoshel and Rochestown, Cork.

Anthony played football with Knocknagoshel while growing up. He went on to study accountancy in UCC and embarking on a very successful career with PriceWaterhouseCooper in Cork.

His brother Padraig is a current member of our senior team.

We extend our deepest condolences to Anthony’s wife Murie and his children Ronan, Jonathan, Daniel, Lauren and Clare.

To Donie, Mary and Anthony’s brothers and sisters we extend heartfelt sympathy. May Anthony’s gentle soul rest in peace.  

Weekend Games Fixtures

Senior County League – Friday, July  9th at 7.30pm Knocknagoshel V Finuge in Knocknagoshel.

U-20 Club Football League Rd 2 – Saturday, July 10th at 4pm Knock/Brosna V Churchill in Churchill. 

Well done to the Knock/Brosna U-12 girls who were crowned North Kerry League champions last week.

A great achievement for this newly formed team. Hopefully the first of many cups to be brought home to the club by this group.

Lotto Jackpot at €10,900

July’s jackpot of €10,900 will be held on Saturday, July 10th.

Club Membership     

All members of Knocknagoshel GAA are asked to use the new GAA registration system ‘Foireann’ to pay their membership for 2021.

If you are a first-time user you will need to register on the system. Go to https://www.foireann.ie to register. Choose ‘GAA’ as the association, ‘Kerry’ as the county and ‘Knocknagoshel’ as the club when registering. Once you have created your profile on Foireann you can pay your membership by selecting the appropriate category of membership under the Membership tab. Please retain your login details for future use.          

Membership rates for 2021 are as follows: Senior player: €50; Family membership: €85; One youth: €20; Third level students: €30; One adult: €30.
