The Late Tom McCarthy, 122 Main Street, Castleisland, Co. Kerry and formerly of Farran, Castleisland, Co. Kerry

The death has occurred of Tom McCarthy, 122 Main Street, Castleisland, Co. Kerry and formerly of Farran, Castleisland, Co. Kerry and ex employee of McElligott’s Castleisland.

Peacefully at his residence, in his 92nd year, surrounded by his loving and caring family. Predeceased by his loving wife Teresa ‘Teasie’ nee Hartnett.

Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his family: Garrett, Eleanor Kerin, Martin, Patricia Healy and Thomas, sons-in-law, Mossie and Dermot, daughters-in-law, Mary, Kathleen and Aileen, his adored fifteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, brother-in-law Tom Dennehy, sister-in-law Marie Hartnett, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

May His Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

A private family funeral will take place for Tom with his Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 2pm in Castleisland Parish Church followed by burial in St. John’s Cemetery, Castleisland.

The Mass will be live-streamed on www.churchservices.tv/castleisland

Please Note: Tom’s funeral cortège will depart his residence at 1:30pm on Wednesday and travel down the Main Street to Castleisland Church and depart the Church at 3pm and travel up the Main Street on route to St. John’s Cemetery.
