The death has occurred of Bernadette ‘Bernie’ Keane, nee Fitzgerald, Cragg West, Castleisland, Co. Kerry and formerly of London, U.K.
Peacefully, on July 16th 2021, surrounded by her loving family, in the wonderful care of the Palliative Care Team at University Hospital Kerry. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband Mossie, her family Teresa, Jeremiah and Maurice, her adored two grandchildren April and Jack, her cherished two great-grandsons Tyler and Ollie, brother Micky, sister Maria, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

In accordance with current HSE guidelines, a private family funeral will take place for Bernie with her Requiem Mass on Tuesday morning at 11am in Castleisland Parish Church, followed by burial in St. Brigid’s New Cemetery, Ballydesmond.

The funeral cortège will depart Bernie’s residence at 10.30am on Tuesday and travel via Dulague and Mullaghmarkey and down Moanmore, en route to the church and depart the church at 12 noon en route to Ballydesmond.
