St. Patrick’s Transition Year students thoroughly enjoyed a morning of drama and comedy with the very talented Mr. Bernard Casey!

The aim of the workshop was to assist students in learning a variety of personal skills such as self-confidence and communication skills.

Students started out with team-building exercises and proceeded to cover a variety of drama areas such as improvisation, comedy and acting.

The skills students used and learned throughout the workshop are vital to their confidence in everyday life.

“Bernard instructed us in acting and drama skills. We also got to know our classmates much better as we worked together through pair and group work. The workshop was great, and it was an enjoyable day,” – Brian O’ Leary.

“I enjoyed the workshop as we got the opportunity to take part in something different. We learned about improvisation and drama skills,” – Cillian Reidy.
