The bank holiday weekend’s Castleisland RFC Split the Bucket draw carried a guaranteed a prize of at least €1,000 and club members were delighted that the prize got over the line with €47 to spare.
The lucky winner of the prize of €1,047 was Ger O’Connell from Scartaglin.

“It is fitting that the next draw will take place in Tom Fleming’s newly reopened bar in Scartaglin next Saturday, October 30th where Ger will be presented with his winning cheque,” said club PRO Noirín Uí Chathasaigh.
“If you want to be in with a chance of winning half the pot just complete one of the envelopes and place it in the buckets or stands in the participating outlets.
