GAA News Round-Up
Knockanure was the venue for the North Kerry Minor Football Championship Semi Final on Sunday.
Knock/Brosna/Duagh took on the might of Ballyduff in a thrilling game. The match was a fairly even affair until the third quarter when Ballyduff added another goal to their tally and gained ascendancy.
KBD kept their heads and delivered up two incredible goals getting to within two points of Ballyduff by the second water break.
The match could have gone either way in the last seconds with the KBD boys doing everything to find a goal.
We mention especially our local boys, David Horan, Mikey Nolan and Jack O’Sullivan who will have another year at minor level.
They are fabulous footballers, lovely young fellas and a credit to our parish. Full-time: Knock/Brosna/Duagh 2-8. Ballyduff 2-10.
Desmonds In Semi Final
Castleisland Desmonds motored through their quarter final against Knocknagoshel in Páirc na Féile on Sunday.
Desmonds showed no sign of flagging after their big win the previous weekend. All eyes now turn to the semi final when Brosna will be meeting the 2020 NK Football champions.
Date, venue and time to be announced shortly. Keep an eye on Brosna GAA Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
