After another year which can be described only as remarkable, we can hope that Christmas will bring us all a bit of respite.

For some it will, for others and for a whole variety of reasons it simply won’t.

There will be many people who will have lots to celebrate at this very special time of the year and there will be others for whom the Season of Goodwill is a combination of days that they must make it through somehow.

What ever way it is for you and what ever way you celebrate or endure Christmas, I’d like to wish that it will be the best time possible for you.

Thank you to all The Maine Valley Post advertisers, subscribers, supporters and readers who keep us all informed and on our toes.

We’ll pull down the shutters for a while and we’ll resume contact at the other side.

Here’s Wishing you all a Happy and Safe Christmas and a far more positive New Year.
