Zoe Makes it Four Split the Bucket Wins for the Nolans

At the time Maria was the third member of her family to win the draw as brother Brendan and mom Margaret also had their envelopes pulled from the drum in the weekly draw. Zoe Nolan won €835 in Saturday’s Castleisland RFC Split the Bucket draw after her uncle Brendan Nolan put €2 and her name in and on an envelope in the Castleisland Carpet shop, Killarney Road.

Zoe created her own bit of STB history in being the fourth member of her family to win the weekly draw.

Her mother Marie and her grandmother, Margret and the same uncle Brendan are all previous Split the Bucket winners.

Next Saturday’s draw is at Diarmuid’s Butchers.

Winner’s €2,000 Cheque

The greatly anticipated Castleisland Rugby Club’s Split the Bucket prize of €2,000 went across the border to Abbeyfeale. The lucky winner of the ‘New Year Cracker Draw’ was Liam McEnery.

At Saturday’s draw Willam Cremin represented Liam McEnery and he was presented with the cheque for €2,000 by Bill Horgan.
