Guepardo Racing and Stardust Crusaders are the school teams who have progressed to the national finals of the competition having submitted their design and marketing plans before the Christmas holidays.

The teams were delighted when they received the news that they qualified for the finals.

Most Exciting STEM Competition

“F1 in Schools is the fastest, most exciting Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths (STEM) competition for secondary school students in the country,” said St. Patrick’s Vice Principal, Tim Long.

“As part of this competition students learn how to design, race, and build their very own miniature Formula 1 car which they will race against other competing teams from across the country.

“Teams are now working hard and using their skills in design, technology, marketing and team work to prepare for their tilt at the finals on May 6th. 2022,” said Mr. Long.
