Castleisland Family Resource Centre in association with the Kerry Education and Training Board (Kerry ETB) and the Social and Health Education Programme (SHEP) are hosting a parenting course designed especially for parents who are parenting alone.
The course is aimed at single parents or parents who are separated and will explore ways in which parents can help their children with separation and anxiety.
It will also contain information on how to manage life in a healthier way.
Techniques on relaxation, building self-esteem, effective listening skills and self-care will also be explored.
This course which will take place via Zoom over eight Tuesday nights, from 7pm – 9.30pm, commencing on February 15th and is funded by Kerry ETB and will be delivered by SHEP.
