Maureen Murphy is First Firies Split the Bucket Thousandaire

Last week’s Castleisland RFC Split the Bucket Draw winner Julie O’Connor from Scartaglin being presented with her winnings of €1,007 by Jack Curran at Tom McCarthy’s Bar during Saturday night’s draw.

Castleisland RFC Split the Bucket Draw winner Julie O’Connor from Scartaglin was presented with her cheque  for €1,007 by Jack Curran from the hosts, Tom McCarthy’s Bar at the latest draw on Saturday night.

Jack extended his duties and picked out this week’s winner and it was revealed that the latest prize, of €1,003, went to Firies to Maureen Murphy and club officials believe it is a first for the area.

Castleisland RFC thanks McCarthy’s Bar for hosting Saturday night’s weekly draw. Centra Castleisland will host next week’s draw on the coming Saturday evening around 5pm. Best of luck to everyone.

How to Play Split the Bucket

Split the Bucket draw envelopes are available in shops and pubs throughout this and neighbouring parishes.

You simply put your €2 in the envelope, seal it and sign it and add your telephone number and pop it in the bucket or the club coloured, red and blue stands.
