Ukrainian Refugee Aid Point at Moloney’s Cake Shop on Wednesday

Moloney’s Cake Shop will become a drop-off point on Wednesday for donations of goods to help with the Ukrainian humanitarian crisis caused by the Russian invasion.

Moloney’s Cake Shop would appear to be the first into the breach locally in organising a drop-off point for donations to help with the growing refugee crisis in Ukraine and its neighbouring countries.

From this Wednesday, March 2nd. there will be a drop off point at Moloney’s Cake Shop at Upper Main Street here in Castleisland for anyone wishing to make donations in response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the humanitarian crisis it has created.

Children with Backpacks

Heartbreaking television pictures, of children with their little backpacks fleeing the war now enveloping their homes, are making a huge impact across the world.

The strange times we’re just putting behind us have now given way to something far more sinister with an equally unpredictable outcome.

Baby Products and Transport

Donations of baby products ie: nappies, wipes, Sudocream, Calpol, baby powder and so on will be welcomed to send to the Ukrainian refugee camps.

Irish volunteers plan to transport this aid in the immediate future by convoy of trucks and ambulances.

They’ll also need financial aid for the transport necessary to get the donations and goods to where they’re most needed.
