Calf Auction Proceeds at Castleisland Co-Op Mart Going to Ukrainian Crisis Fund

Castleisland Co-Op Mart is organising a calf sale for 3pm on the coming Monday, March 14th and all the proceeds will go to the fundraising effort associated with the Ukrainian humanitarian crisis.

The Russian invasion of Ukraine is causing untold hardship on people of all ages as their houses, hospitals, schools and streets are being bombarded by the invaders.

Farmers wishing to donate a calf to the auction are invited to contact the mart office at the numbers below.

Ukrainian Benefit Sale at 3pm

The Ukrainian benefit calf sale will commence at 3pm and all the usual fees involved in the auction process are being waived and donated to the fund.

All sales at Castleisland Co-Op Mart are now also on-line using the Livestock Live or LSL Auctions system.
