Presentation Castleisland launched its new school fundraiser at the very end of March and it’s taking the form of a weekly school lotto.

Participants can play online to win a guaranteed weekly prize and also have the chance to win a weekly jackpot.

“This type of fundraiser allows the community to support the school, while having the fun element of potentially winning a prize,” said Principal Pierce Dargan.

Updating School Facilities

“The funds raised as part of this initiative will go towards upgrading the existing two science labs to state-of-the-art facilities and further updating the school sports hall and performing arts stage. “Details of how to support this fundraiser and where the money goes can be found through the link below.

The first draw will take place on Thursday, April 28th. at 8pm and is open to anyone over the

age of 18.

“Fundraising is part of school life as a voluntary secondary school and we are constantly trying to improve and upgrade our facilities.

A Weekly Buzz

“This type of fundraiser is both effective and enjoyable and creates a weekly buzz around the draw. “Combining fun with fundraising is a winning formula,” said Mr. Dargan at the launch.
