Castleisland RFC Split the Bucket Draws Two €1,000 Winners

David Conroy, representing the Conroy family, Currow and on behalf of his late father, Brendan received the Castleisland RFC Split the Bucket winning cheque for €965 at Hughes’ Bar in Cordal on Saturday night.

Brendan’s entry was pulled from the drum at the draw in Lyons’ Bar in Scartaglen by Luke Scollard on Saturday, April, 23rd but Brendan sadly passed away on the following Tuesday. As a mark of respect Castleisland Rugby Club postponed the following week’s draw.

This week’s €1,000 winners are Liam Drumm, Cordal after he posted his entry at The Chicken Club and Karen O’Mahony, Tulligubeen for €1,006.

The club would like to sincerely thank the public for its continued support for the Split the Bucket draw.

The next draw will be held at Sue Ryder’s on Saturday at 2.30pm.

How to Play Split the Bucket

Split the Bucket draw envelopes are available in shops and pubs throughout this and neighbouring parishes.

You simply put your €2 in the envelope, seal it and sign it and add your telephone number and pop it in the bucket or the club coloured, red and blue stands.
