GAA Action
Time to get on the road to support Brosna in their penultimate game of the SFL.
Dromid, the jewel of South Kerry, is our destination on Saturday, 25th at 7pm. Looking forward to the scenic drive and a lively game. See you there.
Our U15 Knock/Brosna amalgamated team will be in Knocknagoshel on Wednesday taking on Duagh at 7pm.
This is a North Kerry League Div 2 game and definitely one not to be missed.
Fathers’ Day
A belated shout out to all the wonderful fathers, grandfathers, step fathers and Godfathers in the parish.
Your efforts certainly don’t go unnoticed. I saw Facebook awash with words of love flying in from all corners of the globe for the wonderful dads, still with us or passed on, who leave a lasting and meaningful legacy for so many.
Leaving Cert
Well done to all the students who completed the recent Leaving Cert.
After so many stop-starts over the past year with lock-downs, masks, safe distancing in schools and so forth, it’s been a complex and unique time for all. The courage and fortitude with which you navigated all of this chaos will stand to you. Enjoy your summer.
Music Weekend
Check out Kate Pat’s and the Sportsfield Bar fb pages for a schedule of the music sessions that will be taking place this coming weekend.
We send a special welcome to Patie Curtin who is coming home and we look forward to seeing and hearing him on his fiddle over the weekend. It’s always a pleasure to see Patie.
