Castleisland Mass for the Late Meghan Burke, South Carolina

On Friday, July 8th. Meghan Burke peacefully passed away in her sleep in South Carolina. She was just 35 years old.

A daughter of the Castleisland based, Sligo native, Michael Burke, Meghan is survived by her nine-year-old daughter Peyton; parents Kathleen Burke and Michael Burke; grandmother Angela Burke; siblings Tara Burke, her identical twin sister; Christine Burke, Katie Curran, and Michelle Burke; nephews Kevin Curran and Leo Ball; brothers-in-law Michael Ball, Kevin Curran and Jerry Cervasio; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Michael and Margaret Sullivan and Gerard Burke, as well as her uncle Patrick Sullivan, cousin Joey Murphy, and Peyton’s father Jason Hall.
Meghan’s heartbroken father, Michael said that a Mass will be celebrated in her memory at the Church of Saints Stephen and John in Castleisland on Tuesday, August 9th at 7pm.

Michael is inviting all of Meghan’s friends to gather there and to wear their Kerry jerseys.
