Invitation To Scoil Mhuire Brosna – Official Opening
The board of management of Scoil Mhuire, Brosna, wishes to invite you to the official opening of the new extension today, October 6th at 1pm.
The Minister for Education, Norma Foley, will be present for the proceedings. Food and refreshments will be provided directly afterwards.
The extension consists of a new link corridor and stairwell joining up the existing school buildings and a wheelchair accessible bathroom.
A new fire detection and emergency lighting system has been installed throughout the school also. We hope to complete the final phase of our renovation programme by replacing all our flat roofs in the coming months. We look forward to your company on today.
Brosna Notes Condolences
We extend our heartfelt sympathies to the family and friends of Mrs. Eilish Geaney.
Interested in everything and everyone, she embraced life. Her stoic nature and pragmatism were an inspiration to all.
I once asked her what was the recipe for a long life, to which she answered with her usual good humour: Work and more work! We’ll miss you, Eilish. Rest in Peace.
