The Late Johnny O’Connell, Knockeenahone, Scartaglen.

The death has taken place of Johnny O’Connell, Knockeenahone, Scartaglen. Peacefully, on October 7th. 2022, in the excellent care of the staff at the Palliative Care Unit, University Hospital Kerry, surrounded by his loving family.

Johnny will be very sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Eileen, nee Buckley, Ballydesmond and children:  Seamus in Killorglin; Mary Buckley, Abbeyfeale; Sean in Scartaglen; Ita McNamara in Galway; grandchildren: Aoibh, Eoin, Liam, Darragh, Orlaith, Clodagh, Keeva, Saidbh, Olan and Cuan, daughter-in-law Pauline, sons-in law Padraig and Adrian, brothers Denny, Fr. Jim and Timmy, sisters Susie, Nora Mai and Sr, Bridie (RIP), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

May he rest in Peace.

Johnny’s Funeral Arrangements

Reposing in Daly’s Funeral Home, Scartaglen, on Sunday evening from 4pm until 7pm. Requiem Mass will take place on Monday in the Church of Our Lady of Lourdes, Scartaglen, at 12 noon. Burial in Scartaglen Cemetery. Family flowers only, please.

Donations, in lieu, to the Palliative Care Unit, University Hospital Kerry.
