Sheila Nolan, Knocknagoshel being presented with her An Ríocht AC 50/50 Fundraising Draw winning cheque for 402 at Monday’s draw at the club-house. Mrs. Nolan, in turn, pulled out the Washington based Re McAuliffe’s entry for a 1,000 win. Making the presentation are club officials from left: Tom O’Leary, development officer; Bill Costello, treasurer and Joe Walsh, chairman.

An Ríocht Athletic Club send its congratulations to the Cordal connected Re McAuliffe who, while on a holiday from Washington, did the club’s 50/50 fundraising draw at Walsh Bros Electrical.

It was just the ticket as her entry was drawn from the drum by last week’s winner, Sheila Nolan from Knocknagoshel.

Re’s stroke of good fortune was worth €1,000 to her and she got the good news as she waited at Shannon Airport for her flight back to the USA.

Next week’s 50/50 draw will be held on Monday at 11am at Castleisland Post Office.
