Linda’s Class Party

Meanwhile, indoors at An Riocht, Linda Kennedy’s Nifty 50s / Slick 60s and Super 70s group held its first Christmas Party in the accommodating premises earlier this week.

This class, which started last April with four people attending has grown to a group of up to 35 with new people joining each week.

It runs weekly from 11am to 12pm on Tuesdays and includes stretching and light weightlifting. The track is also used for walking during the course of the class.

Trainer and Motivator

“Linda is a fantastic trainer and motivator and she tailors the exercises to suit each individual,” said a class participant.

“As important as movement and fitness is, it’s the social side that makes this class so special. The party was appreciated and enjoyed last Tuesday and we were treated to seasonal food, mince pies and Bailey’s coffee,” said the class member.

Annual Membership Deal

On the club membership front, the annual Gym Membership/Mega Deal is running from December 8th to 16th.

The cost is €320 for the year for adults which works out at about €6 per week. This includes access to the gym, the leisure suite and track membership.

There is a special rate for students and seniors of €280. For further information you can contact An Ríocht at 066-71 42199.
