Happy New Year agus Go mBeirimíd Beo Ar An Am Seo Arís

As recent years go it’s hard to complain about the one that’s just sneaking away out from under our noses and behind a blanket of thick fog.

It was a year like many others in that it stole away so many of our neighbours and friends – but it can’t be blamed for that.

That happens regardless and time passes on even if we find it hard to do so after suffering losses and their consequences.

It’s a custom for us to wish each other the best of everything for the new year with health the unspoken list topper.

Go easy on the roads tonight as that thick fog you see creating its magic around Con Houlihan on Main Street is more than capable of wreaking havoc and loss on the roads around the parish.

Happy New Year to all agus go mbeirimíd beo ar an am seo arís.
